Instead of going in for the kill, Danielle has decided to chain Leo to her will. Leo will be bound to Danielle until the day he dies, or she decides to release him. Despite his involvement in the attempted abduction of Lizzy, Danielle is showing mercy.

She has calmed down and I think she has seen enough violence for today. This solves the problem without any more deaths.

I saw this coming. Becoming a vampire has not
changed the decent person she was. For all the mayhem,
gore, and horror of the resent battle she did nothing
different than what any person might to to protect
the innocent. She just had more abilities and strength.
